Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Publications Specialist to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team at Lockheed Martin Australia.

This role will involve coordinating and maintaining technical publication amendments, as well as supporting the distribution of publications through ICT systems.

The successful candidate will have strong computer literacy skills and be able to work collaboratively with our System Program Office to establish and maintain publications capabilities.

About You:

  • You will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Communications or Information Technology, from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience within the defence industry.
  • Experience within an engineering and/or maintenance environment is preferred, especially within the defence industry.
  • Familiarity with DEF (AUST) 5629C and Australian Air Publication (AAP) 7000.003 is essential.
  • Awareness of configuration and change management principles with AAP's is also required.
  • You will be able to condense complex concepts into succinct explanations and possess excellent Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and XML skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and/or maintain technical publication amendments for implementation of UH-60M Black Hawk publications.
  • Support the distribution of UH-60M Black Hawk publications through ICT systems.
  • Collaborate with the System Program Office to establish, develop, and maintain publications capabilities.
