Job Title: Assistant Banquet Operations Manager

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Banquet Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Conference & Events Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our function rooms and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise function room set-ups and servicing according to specifications of function event orders, including setup and pack down
  • Provide support and presence on the front of house areas to ensure the smooth operation of the Department & quality service is provided
  • Ensure our food & beverage service standards are met, achieving a consistently high level of service to all guests
  • Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service and promote a safe workplace
  • Communicate with kitchen on timing of meal requirements
  • Supervise a team of Food & Beverage Attendants, including coaching and performance management
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of Banquets, Functions & Events service style
  • RSA is a must
  • Flexibility with rostered shifts
