Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Area Manager – Regional. This position can be based in Brisbane or North Queensland and offers the flexibility of either a part-time or full-time capacity.
About the Role- Travel to regional Queensland services to provide on-site support and guidance, ensuring effective operations and high-quality care for children.
- Lead, mentor, and coach Centre Directors to build and maintain high-performing teams, driving excellence in early childhood education.
- Offer strong support in Educational Leadership and demonstrate a high level of pedagogical expertise, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and the National Quality Framework (NQF), maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.
- Monitor service performance, occupancy growth, and budget targets, making informed decisions to drive business success.
- Prepare reports on visits, service outcomes, and operational progress, providing valuable insights for strategic planning.
- Maintain readiness for Assessment and Rating visits and regulatory audits, upholding our reputation for excellence.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, educators, communities, stakeholders, and regulators, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or a relevant early childhood qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood education.
- At least 2–5 years' experience as a Centre Manager or Area Manager overseeing multiple services, showcasing leadership capabilities and a track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and the NQF, ensuring a deep understanding of the sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, driving results through effective leadership and management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- A strong understanding of service leadership, staff management, and community engagement, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- A current Working with Children (Blue Card) and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Sound knowledge of ECEC legislation, the Assessment and Rating process, and continuous improvement strategies, driving excellence in practice.
- An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), informing high-quality programming and practice.
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally respectful practice and strong family partnerships, promoting a culture of belonging and connection.
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel regularly throughout Queensland, supporting our geographic reach and service delivery.
