About the Role
Key responsibilities for this position include monitoring and evaluating warehouse operations to ensure regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing capabilities within the warehouse team.
This includes reviewing current practices, conducting assessments and providing recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will assist with staff recruitment and performance management, as well as visit assigned warehouse sites to ensure compliance with OH&S requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving warehouse operations and managing multiple sites. They will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Provide coaching and training to Proprietors, Warehouse Managers and Administration Managers on operational best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Need To Succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in retail warehouse operations.
- High level written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to travel to multiple warehouse sites within metropolitan and regional areas.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, OH&S and retail practices.
