Momentum Consulting is looking for a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager, working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a Permanent position Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift, day schedule, and a competitive salary package.

**The Role: Warehouse Operations Manager**

  • Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation that meets operational and customer demand targets.
  • Train new warehouse operatives within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure accurate inventories and stock movements are recorded.
  • Support organizing and participating in stock takes as requested (includes cycle counting).
  • Ensure computerized or automated systems are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identify any system improvements and make recommendations for change.
  • Manage time and attendance for operatives within the area of responsibility and support supervisor with people management issues.
  • Communicate with staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
  • Support recruitment and training of staff as well as monitor performance and progress to ensure targets are met.
  • Report progress updates, key achievements, and any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager Relationship Management.

**Requirements**:

  • High Reach Forklift experience beneficial.
  • Minimum 12 months Team Leader experience.
  • Minimum 2 years Warehousing experience.
  • Excellent WHS knowledge.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
