Role Overview:

TP Human Capital is seeking a skilled IT technical leader to fill a 6-month contract role, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will lead the delivery of critical IT services, ensuring compliance with safety and legislative requirements, and drive continuous improvement through strong technical leadership.

Salary: $63-$68 per hour

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will manage the effective delivery of IT services, ensuring they meet business needs and align with ITIL best practices.
  • They will lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • The role requires expertise in key technologies including Microsoft products, Azure, virtualisation, networking, security, and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of IT services across a broad range of systems and services.
  • Lead automation and scripting initiatives using tools like PowerShell, Bicep, and Azure Infrastructure as Code.
  • Oversee virtualisation platforms (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V), networking and security technologies (Cisco, WAN, Azure Virtual Networks, Palo Alto), and application delivery solutions (F5, Azure Application Gateway).
  • Provide technical solutions that integrate diverse systems to deliver maximum value to the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • ITIL certification or proven experience in Service Management principles.
  • 8+ years experience in IT, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management or leadership position.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and analytical abilities with a focus on business outcomes.
