The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will have full accountability for state-wide manufacturing operations in Victoria. This role leads a large, multi-site operation, setting operational strategy, ensuring compliance and industrial harmony, and delivering outstanding results in safety, productivity, and quality.

You will oversee full operational P&L, including cost control, payroll, and capital investment. Manage complex HR and IR matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a high-performance culture.

This position involves championing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to lift capability and efficiency. Ensure technical and quality standards meet customer and regulatory requirements. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Set strategic direction and operational priorities for all Victorian manufacturing sites.
  • Lead a large, diverse workforce with a strong focus on safety, culture, and engagement.
  • Oversee full operational P&L, including cost control, payroll, and capital investment.
  • Manage complex HR and IR matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Champion continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to lift capability and efficiency.
  • Ensure technical and quality standards meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in senior, multi-site operational leadership (15+ years).
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational and cultural transformation.
  • Strong IR expertise, with the ability to negotiate and influence at senior levels.
  • Experience in large-scale manufacturing; packaging industry experience advantageous.
