About the Role

This Project Coordinator position plays a pivotal role in driving site mobilisation projects forward. You'll create and maintain project documentation, monitor progress, and ensure effective communication with the project team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining project reports and documents
  • Conducting site visits and assessments to identify suitability and advise on requirements
  • Circulating and reviewing site packs, providing feedback to the team
  • Collating project documentation, including site plans, scope of works briefs, safety documents, and inductions
  • Effective handover of project documentation from inception to operation
  • Contractor management, obtaining required documentation and inducing contractors
  • Coordinating project updates to the Team Lead and wider project team
  • Identifying potential project delays or risks and suggesting mitigation strategies
  • Ensuring shared Project Management software is up-to-date for transparency and regular communications
  • Assisting in solving technical and non-technical problems throughout the project lifecycle
  • Fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and budget-friendly operations
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, safety standards, and internal policies
  • Supporting submission and follow-up of council applications and regulatory permits
  • Organising lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications

To succeed as a Project Coordinator, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within construction or property development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and MS Project
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail to monitor and control project variables
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members
