About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Designer to join our team as an embedded member, working with public sector clients to deliver impactful solutions. This role is open to Canberra-based applicants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct human-centered design research to understand consumer expectations and needs, using quantitative and qualitative techniques.
  • Create service blueprints, system maps, customer journeys, and support the execution of product or service delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops to encourage stakeholders to work together and develop cross-agency and cross-sectoral approaches to solve issues and problems.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end customer experience strategies, ensuring accessibility requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Extensive human-centered design experience, including design thinking, systems thinking, and agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in conducting customer research, problem solving, journey mapping, ideation, prototyping, and testing solutions.
  • Experience with digital transformation and/or omnichannel strategies, as well as knowledge of current trends in digital and interaction design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, CC, and other relevant software.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain ASGVA Baseline clearance.

Estimated salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
