To succeed in this role, you will need to be an accountant with a strong drive to learn and demonstrate your interest in restructuring and insolvency accounting.

You should be committed and enthusiastic about accountancy, with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to a continuously changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day issues on formal insolvency and restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal
  • Assist in advisory, informal engagements, including independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments
  • Compile information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
  • Build and develop relationships with clients, promoting the business restructuring offering
  • Ensure all working papers are accurate and the file is maintained in an appropriate manner
  • Investigate and report on any identified contraventions on a timely basis

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years' work experience in a similar role
  • Degree-qualified in the relevant area
  • CA or CPA qualification (or studying towards)
  • Ability to work as a team and independently as required
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
  • High attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply.
