Job Title: Data Governance and Privacy Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Privacy Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to further their career in data governance, operationalisation, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholders and deliver on multiple streams of work simultaneously
  • Document technology solutions, including data lineage and business glossaries, and manage these artefacts
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, document business needs, validate and prioritise requirements against strategic goals and project objectives
  • Facilitate process review, documentation, and re-engineering to meet project and team strategy
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of strategic programs by working alongside other members of the data governance and privacy team

Requirements:

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in documentation of technology solutions, including data lineage and business glossaries
  • Experience working in a project environment, delivery-focused, and experienced in an agile methodology
  • Ability to communicate difficult and abstract concepts to stakeholders of varying levels of maturity
  • Experience of working in projects involving important data governance/management components
  • Experience of working across technology and cyber security teams
