Radiologist Workflow Coordinator

This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient coordination of radiologist workflows across key NSW hospital contracts. As the Workflow Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality service for patients and referrers.

About The Position
  • Coordinate and optimize daily radiologist workflows to meet reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for NSW hospital contracts.
  • Buildequitable relationships with radiologists, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot Radiology Information System (RIS)/Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and workflow issues, escalating to vendors or internal IT teams when required.
  • Proactively manage workload distribution, monitor unreported lists, and support backlog resolution.
  • Analyze workflow and contract performance data to inform planning and reporting and assist with implementation and support of workflow tools and systems.
About You
  • Experience working in a radiology clinic (minimum 2 years in a clinical, clerical, or administrative role).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of radiology workflows and IT systems (RIS/PACS).
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Display strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Possess an analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Show confidence using Microsoft Office and working with performance data.
