About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our client's team in Perth. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of sales professionals, overseeing the performance of approximately 30 stores across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage walk-up retail KPIs, including ATM performance
- Own and drive store profitability and EBITDA
- Manage and monitor customer service levels at stores
- People management and store management, including launches, promotions, inventory, and margins
- Execute operations in line with standard operating procedures
- Adhere to company and location policies and procedures
- Financial analysis, reporting, and planning
- Review existing estate and identify opportunities for business development
- Manage local relationships and day-to-day operational account management
Requirements:
- Solid background in the banking and foreign exchange industry
- Retail experience is essential
- Ability to manage teams to deliver results
- Manage recruitment, coaching, retention, and performance
- Protect the business by ensuring compliance to procedures and managing risks
- Ability to build and manage relationships
- Experience of managing change in a multi-site environment
- Strong record of performance delivery, through increased sales, cost management, performance against KPIs, and good P&L management
- Strong written and verbal communication
