Position Overview

Become an integral part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team within our esteemed Clients & Markets division.

In collaboration with the Brisbane Partnership and the National Environment & Sustainable Development Practice Group, along with seasoned Clients and Markets experts, this energetic position will involve the creation and execution of diverse client and marketing initiatives. Emphasizing proposals and submissions, you will also engage in digital projects, thought leadership endeavors, directories, awards, seminars, and events, while supporting significant client accounts.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn and thrive in a collaborative environment, with exceptional relationship management abilities being essential for success in this role. You will naturally question conventional practices and be motivated to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation and coordination of proposals, capability statements, practice directory entries, and attorney profiles;
  • Managing the internal client seminar program, including webinars;
  • Supporting the Events Managers in organizing client events;
  • Maintaining business development databases and handling general administrative tasks;
  • Building a profile and establishing credibility with internal stakeholders (i.e., attorneys and other staff) while actively promoting the Clients and Markets function and its expertise;
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Clients & Markets Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, you should:

  • Be a collaborator with the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels;
  • Exhibit curiosity and possess strong questioning and listening skills;
  • Demonstrate a proactive, enthusiastic, and positive attitude towards your work;
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in marketing or a related business field (preferred);
  • Have experience in drafting proposals and submissions (preferred);
  • Be familiar with organizing seminars and events (preferred);
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word;
  • Have experience with online event platforms (preferred);
  • Possess knowledge of Client Relationship Management databases (Interaction preferred);
  • Exhibit strong project management and multitasking capabilities;
  • Be a quick learner;
  • Work effectively under pressure and manage diverse stakeholder interactions.
