HSE Manager

The role of HSE Manager is pivotal in ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.

  • Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead our team in driving health, safety, and environmental excellence.
Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert advice, leadership, and hands-on support to drive the improvement, promotion, and education of HSE across the organization.
  2. Oversight of project scope, cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  3. Management of HSE performance and compliance across the facility, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  4. Leadership and coaching of the management team to implement Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  5. Development and maintenance of communication plans for HSE activities, including stakeholder engagement.
  6. Implementation of Group and Division HSE strategies, management systems, and improvement plans.
  7. Management of HSE advisors and personnel, ensuring compliance with HSE management systems, accreditation, and legislation.
  8. Identification, assessment, and management of site-specific HSE risks, ensuring appropriate controls are implemented and corrective actions are completed.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in HSE management, with experience in leading teams and implementing safety initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • A valid Driver's License and eligibility for an Australian Defence clearance.

This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to HSE management, with a focus on driving excellence and continuous improvement.
