We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to partner with our technology business unit and drive strategic financial support for cutting-edge initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our technology division to provide insightful financial planning, analysis, and guidance
  • Support the development of comprehensive business cases, including detailed financial modeling and ROI analysis
  • Create tailored financial reporting and dashboards to track initiative performance against established targets
  • Analyze financial and operational KPIs to identify opportunities and performance gaps
  • Assist with budget management and cost tracking for projects and technology division
  • Participate in investment reviews and project financial assessments
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and value

Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field and professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA)
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience with extensive financial knowledge
  • Demonstrated business partnering experience within a large corporate organization
  • Thought leadership in managing large complex datasets and extracting key insights
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice to non-finance management teams
  • A focus on process improvement with the ability to adapt and commit to continuous improvement activities
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage customer expectations
  • Excellent communication skills to promote collaboration across the broader technology team as well as the broader finance and business community at Qantas
  • A self-starter mindset and ability to work under time pressure with limited supervision
  • Proven ability to manage and influence priorities across a broad stakeholder group
