Strategic Finance Partner

- Support the operation of funding programs, planning, and reporting activities consistent with Government requirements.
- Analyse information and data from a range of sources to develop and provide accurate advice and information to stakeholders and senior staff.
- Partner with divisions to support them with financial management, including supporting them with annual budget process.
- Seek out and actively manage key stakeholder relationships across supported directorates.
- Analyse information and business data from a range of sources to support high quality correspondence, including reports and submissions for senior Departmental officers.
We are seeking someone with:
- Excellent finance customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a Finance Business Partner role
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance
- CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to public education and early childhood education and care
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, advanced Excel skills and be able to deliver results within tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.
