Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Partner to join our team. As a key member of the Finance Partnering team, you will play a critical role in supporting senior business leaders in the day-to-day management of the business by providing analysis and insights to inform business decisions.

This role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial performance reports to senior management, providing clear insights and recommendations to drive business growth. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships across the business to provide analytical and financial support to Senior Business Leaders/Financial Controller.

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, and CA/CPA qualified with minimum 3 years post-qualified experience. You will also have 5+ years experience in finance business partnering, exceptional business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and building relationships across the business to provide analytical and financial support to Senior Business Leaders/Financial Controller.
  • Managing finance processes/functions through insightful, strategic reporting.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of allocated finance functions for month end, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Delivering regular financial performance reports to senior management, providing clear insights and recommendations.
  • Critically assessing workflows and driving efficiencies/process improvements.
  • Mentoring, guiding, and engaging reporting team members to help them achieve their own responsibilities, creating a high-performing team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
  • CA/CPA qualified with minimum 3 years post-qualified experience.
  • 5+ years experience in finance business partnering.
  • Exceptional business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy and strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to explain concepts to non-financial stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Experience in process improvement and driving change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn, with an adaptable approach to work.
  • Thrives in a changing environment.
  • Experience of staff management.
  • Previous experience with D365.
  • Previous experience with planning/data analysis tools such as TM1.
  • Experience in the industry preferred but not mandatory.
