About the Role

We are seeking an organised and motivated junior legal secretary to join our Adelaide Secretarial Team at Thomson Geer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our legal team, work across various commercial practice areas within the firm, and benefit from support and training as you grow into the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage diaries and book travel arrangements to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Prepare correspondence, including emails, memos, and letters, to maintain high-quality communication standards.
  • Assist with monthly billing to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Manage electronic documentation to maintain a secure and organised digital environment.
  • Provide relief reception services to support the team during peak periods.
  • Perform additional administration duties as required to support the team's success.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, with a strong focus on organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and staff.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to maintain high productivity and efficiency.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, providing support and contributing to a positive and collaborative culture.
