About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our bridges and structures team, working on major projects throughout the region. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver a variety of interesting projects, combining your technical skills, project management skills, and client relationship management experience with a project delivery focus.

As a seasoned engineer, you will be a passionate mentor, supporting the development of our more junior team members. You will work with a broad range of clients, involved in key stakeholder engagement processes, contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver complex bridge design and infrastructure projects
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations
Requirements
  • 15-20 years' experience in structural engineering design, with a focus on bridges and infrastructure projects
  • Experience working for an engineering design consultancy
  • Design experience is essential, asset management experience is highly regarded
  • Passion for innovation and client service through timely, quality delivery
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) – essential
  • CPEng/RPEQ accreditation or eligible to apply for immediately – essential
