Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Financial Controller to join our team on a temp to perm basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance function, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial accounting and reporting across the business.

About the Role:

  • Oversee the entire end-to-end finance function, including financial accounting, month-end reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
  • Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives with business goals.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, ideally within an independent business overseeing the full finance function.
  • Strong background in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Experience in financial analysis and providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team of qualified accountants.
  • CPA or CA qualification is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
