Financial Director - Hospitality | Ambition Recruitment

As a Financial Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategies of a growing hospitality business, driving profitability and success across multiple hotel locations.

This opportunity is ideal for a proactive and conscientious finance professional looking to work in a high-energy, customer-oriented environment. You will collaborate closely with property managers and other key stakeholders, ensuring financial health and fostering business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly analyze Profit & Loss statements and investigate any significant variances.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Month-End reporting and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with property managers on month-end results, providing insights and suggestions for financial improvements.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets.
  • Inter-state travel to other properties and working with senior leadership.
  • Lead a team of 6 people across the different properties.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background preferably within the hospitality sector managing a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Comfortable working in an energized, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with non-finance stakeholders, such as hotel managers and department heads.
