Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of operations staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and setting standards of performance.
- Operational Efficiency: Plan, organise, and coordinate daily operational activities to meet production goals, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Resource Management: Manage and optimize resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to maximize operational performance and minimize costs.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate with senior management, colleagues, and team members to provide updates on operations, address issues, and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
- Problem-Solving: Identify operational challenges, analyze root causes, develop and implement solutions to address issues and improve production processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management or similar role, demonstrating leadership and management skills with 5+ years field experience in a production environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of building products industry.
