About the Role

The IT Operations Support Specialist will be based in Sydney and will be responsible for providing on-site IT support to the company's business and systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technology, including PCs, tablet devices, server systems, network infrastructure, and voice platforms. This is an entry-level/junior position with significant growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily IT operational tasks to support a fast-paced and dynamic office environment
  • Provide PC support for general Microsoft OS, M365, and office applications
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Collaborate with the regional team across the business to ensure a smooth and successful outcome for end-users

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of related working experience
  • Tertiary education (or technical diploma)
  • Knowledge of the IT service management workflow, PC support, and troubleshooting skills
  • On-site position in Sydney
  • Basic network LAN switching skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility in handling unusual situations (overtime or adjusting work schedules) to accommodate out-of-the-ordinary circumstances
