About the Role

IRT Catering seeks a Permanent Full Time Cleaner to assist with daily domestic services in our Central Production Kitchen.

The role involves working on a rotating schedule between 6am-2:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, ensuring high-quality work and gaining a rewarding career in the Aged Care Sector.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
  • Sanitising and cleaning a Commercial Production Kitchen
  • Cleaning public areas within the Catering Services Centre
  • Adhering to OH&S requirements for a safe, clean environment and reporting any accidents/incidents to the Supervisor
  • Completing relevant documentation in an accurate and timely manner

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Experience in using cleaning chemicals in a Commercial Production Kitchen
  • Awareness of hygiene and safety issues in a Commercial Production Kitchen Environment
  • Experience as a Commercial Cleaner in a Commercial Kitchen Environment
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
