Key Role in Business Transformation

The position of Technology Project Lead plays a pivotal role in driving business change through the delivery of large-scale ICT solutions and technical project management.

This involves influencing stakeholders and building high-performing teams to deliver significant business transformation projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with organisational standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of ICT-enabled business change projects according to approved methodologies and frameworks.
  • Develop and execute technical project plans that guarantee successful outcomes, aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Implement effective governance and project management practices, ensuring seamless alignment with the organisation's PMO framework.
  • Collaborate closely with solution specialists, change managers, and business analysts to ensure technical implementation activities meet business requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of technical implementation, including cutover planning, risk and issue management, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide leadership and direction to technical staff embedded within business-as-usual teams, ensuring successful delivery against scope.
  • Represent the programme at senior levels, maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM) is highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in successfully managing complex ICT-enabled business change projects in a healthcare or large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary technical project teams, including resources embedded across business units.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong skills in project planning, governance, risk management, and cutover activities are essential.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective influence and collaboration at all levels, including remotely.
  • Delivery Focus: A track record of achieving project outcomes on time and within scope, aligned with structured project management methodologies.
