Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to lead the delivery of ICT solutions and drive business change in the health sector. The role involves overseeing planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects, ensuring alignment between teams and program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of ICT-enabled business change initiatives in accordance with established methodologies and frameworks.
  • Lead the development and implementation of technical project plans, focusing on quality, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance and project management practices aligned with our PMO framework.
  • Collaborate with solution specialists, change managers, and business analysts to ensure technical implementation activities align with business requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of technical implementation, including cutover planning, risk management, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide leadership and direction to CTS technical staff embedded within business-as-usual teams, ensuring delivery against scope and objectives.
  • Represent the program at senior levels, maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certification in Project Management, such as PRINCE2, PMP, or AgilePM.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in successfully managing complex ICT-enabled business change projects, preferably in a healthcare or large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary technical project teams, including resources embedded across business units.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong skills in project planning, governance, risk management, and cutover activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Delivery Focus: Track record of achieving project outcomes on time and within scope, in alignment with structured project management methodologies.
