Indigenous Education Director

La Trobe University's School of Education is seeking an experienced academic to lead high-impact research in Indigenous education. The successful candidate will contribute to institutional change and enhance the quality and cultural responsiveness of initial teacher education programs.
Main Responsibilities- To develop and implement innovative research initiatives that drive strategic vision aligned with La Trobe's values and priorities.
- To mentor colleagues and develop their skills through mentoring and support.
- To achieve excellence in teaching and research, strengthen equity and inclusion, and drive strategic vision.
- A track record of excellence in teacher education and Indigenous education research.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and reconciliation in higher education.
- Strong capacity to build collaborative partnerships with schools, communities, and industry.
- The ability to contribute to the school's renewal and La Trobe's broader strategic goals.
