Opportunity for Academic Leadership

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and cultural responsiveness of initial teacher education programs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Enhance the quality and cultural responsiveness of initial teacher education programs
  • Build sustainable pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and educators

This senior academic appointment is established to amplify Indigenous knowledge systems and perspectives across the school's teaching, research and partnership agenda.

Applications are invited from experienced academic leaders who have a strong track record of excellence in teacher education and Indigenous education research, as well as a commitment to equity, inclusion and reconciliation in higher education.

As an experienced academic leader, you will demonstrate:

The role involves travel across La Trobe campuses to foster collaboration and engagement.
