**IT Expert Role Overview**

The IT Specialist plays a vital role in administering and supporting Citrix/VDI technologies. This position involves serving as an Information Technology expert, providing technical guidance, analysis, advice, and troubleshooting/problem resolution on a wide range of operational problems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage Enterprise Citrix Server Farms on a virtual platform via VMware.
  • Provide technical guidance, assistance, and advice to other personnel.
  • Review performance metrics of VDI Farm infrastructure to ensure availability of resources.
  • Research, document, and apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to Windows operating systems or applications.
  • Participate in planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating the results of feasibility and performance studies.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Tour of Duty: Set Schedule.
  • Security Requirements: Critical Sensitive with Secret Access.
  • Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination.
  • To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position.
