The Boeing MQ28 is a globally-significant military aircraft program that supports Defence operational capabilities through its disruptive advantage. Developed in partnership with the Royal Australian Air Force, it marks the first military combat aircraft designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia in 50 years.

Job Overview

This role requires an experienced maintainer to work on various aircraft systems, associated components and equipment within their trade qualifications, training and Approved Maintenance Organization authorization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components and equipment.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months experience as a fully qualified maintainer.
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills Mechanical qualification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Dept of Defence security clearance at required level for the role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security requirements for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS) clearance.
  • Compliance with 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
  • Ability to read, interpret, speak and write fluently in English.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Competence to seek and hold delegated authorities under DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aviation: quality assurance procedures; maintenance / modification procedures; and AMD and ICA documentation.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Defence Military Aerospace environment.
  • Valid DASR Category B MAML.
  • Dual Trade/Mech-structures Cert IV (Dual Trade).
