**Job Title:** Aviation Propulsion Systems Technician

**Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled technician to support the maintenance and repair of aviation propulsion systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting industry-standard repairs and overhauls on propeller systems, working on various aircraft platforms including the De Havilland Aircraft Dash 8-400, Fokker 50, Leonardo's C27J, and Lockheed Martin C130 Hercules.

**Responsibilities:

- Conduct on-site maintenance and repair of propeller systems, including repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance
- Provide technical instruction and assistance to customers within formal technical documents
- Collaborate with GE manufacturing and repair facilities to support output requirements
- Maintain knowledge of applicable product lines and contractual obligations
- Train and oversee apprentices and less experienced team members
- Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, and capturing sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of site quality, safety management, and EH&S policies
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations aligned to GE requirements
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner

**Requirements:

- Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Mechanical/Avionics or equivalent
- Proven track record of delivering high-level customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to train people and prepare technical reports
- Experience working in a small team and familiarity with civil/military regulatory frameworks
- Commitment to a healthy, safe, and compliant work environment
- May require Australian Defence Force Security Clearance
