The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced military aviator with operational experience on fast/large jets and/or unmanned aerial systems to join our team.

This role represents the future of military aviation, complementing manned aircraft and unmanned/autonomous weapon systems. Your expertise will contribute to the development of autonomous airborne systems that are destined to change the nature of military capability.

We actively manage the sustainment and operation of multiple aviation platforms across various fleets, including F/A-18, P-8, and Chinook.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize your experience as a military aviator and your knowledge of complex airborne systems, sensors, and weapons to shape the development of our autonomous airborne systems.
- Participate in developmental flight test programs.
- Adopt a diverse and challenging role within a leading-edge industry.
- Position yourself for a future capability development role.

Specific roles include:

  • Guiding the development of airborne autonomous systems.
  • Operating unmanned systems during ground and flight tests.
  • Assisting in the development of critical capability tools.
  • Creating flight/mission plans and coordinating with team members.
  • Evaluating system performance and human factors characteristics.
  • Utilizing leading-edge simulation tools for advanced concepts analysis.
  • Providing advice to ensure airworthiness criteria are satisfied.
  • Supporting the training and instruction of customer aircrew.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics).

- Proven experience as a military aviator with operational experience on fast/large jets and/or unmanned aerial systems.

- Strong knowledge of complex airborne systems, sensors, and weapons.
