The Senior Credit Manager is responsible for leading the Credit team and overseeing credit decisioning and risk management strategies to drive business growth and mitigate risks.
This senior leadership role requires effective leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance credit decisioning and loss mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Credit team and manage day-to-day operations, fostering a high-performance culture and driving training to upgrade team competency.
- Oversee assessment and ongoing review of the loan portfolio, ensuring recommendations align with the company's risk appetite and protect its position.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics and technology to improve credit decisioning and loss mitigation, creating customer solutions within the company's risk appetite.
- Shape risk management approaches, engage with stakeholders, and develop credit guidance and process documentation to improve credit function and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit decisioning and risk management, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
