About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to lead the team and deliver on our commitments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and cost-effective running of the housekeeping department, maintaining high staff morale, achieving Brand Standards and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, engineering maintenance requests, inspections of plant rooms and service outlets, and ensure all work orders are performed and correctly recorded.
  • Lead and motivate the shift team, set and maintain service standards, provide feedback, coach employees, and manage attendance and scheduling.
  • Monitor the working condition of all mechanical and electrical plants during shifts, updating service reports and log books as necessary.
  • Conduct staff training and development, implement a multi-skills program, and ensure compliance with employee rules and regulations.
  • Assist with the Energy Conservation Programme, participate in environmental initiatives, and lead emergency response efforts, including fire fighting and FEAT team leadership when needed.
