We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Luxury Housekeeping Operations Manager to lead our team at a Cairns Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping services, managing daily operations, and driving performance excellence.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer comprehensive training programs, opportunities for growth and development, and a positive, inclusive work culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring excellent service delivery and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive performance excellence, improve productivity, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure duties have been completed to meet service standards and guaranteed arrival times.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including payroll and billing information, in accordance with Hospitality Industry General Award requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and client requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a housekeeping team in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests, colleagues, and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Full Australian working rights and a willingness to relocate to Cairns.
