Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to fill the position of Principal Level P1 at Bankstown South Infants School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our school's teaching and learning programs, managing resources effectively, and ensuring quality outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage whole school teaching and learning programs to ensure high-quality education
  • Manage resources effectively to enhance teaching and learning
  • Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with additional needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep knowledge of early childhood education and inclusive education
  • Ability to lead school and department strategies to support students with additional needs
  • High-level interpersonal skills and approachable leadership to build authentic connections with parents, staff, and the wider school community
  • Strong and visible leadership that builds a dynamic learning community focused on high standards of professional growth, evidence-informed practices, and staff collective efficacy
What We Offer

The total remuneration package for this position will be $174,534.00 per annum, comprising a base salary of $156,062.00. This classification attracts a principal classification structure based on school complexity, as measured through each school's RAM allocation.

If you have not held a substantive principal position in a NSW Public School at any time in the past five (5) years, you need to have completed the NSW Public School Leadership and Management Credential to be eligible to apply. An unconditional full approval to teach is also required.
