Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Capital Interface and Transition Manager. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the project scoping, delivery, transition, handover, and operational efficiency of critical airport infrastructure across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Integration: Act as the main interface for project integration, overseeing operational efficiency and collaboration with various departments.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring governance, accountability, and alignment with Launceston Airport strategies.
  • Communication: Establish strong communication channels and provide real-time project updates to stakeholders.
  • Support: Support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle, maximizing operational performance and client outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and customer service excellence.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate project teams to minimize impacts on airport operations and manage change smoothly.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee asset lifecycle management and ensure effective transition, including documentation and training.
  • Review and Approval: Review and approve work permits, ensure ORAT plans are in place, and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Process Improvement: Lead process improvements and contribute to organizational goals through collaboration and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications related to project management, aviation, or construction management (desired).
  • Experience: Experience with infrastructure management and project integration (desired).
  • Airport Operations: Experience and understanding of airport operations and aviation security requirements for airports.
  • Project and Change Management: Project and change management skills and experience.
  • Operational Readiness Activation and Testing: Experience in Operational Readiness Activation and Testing documentation development and roll-out.
