We are seeking an experienced Corporate Risk Manager to join our team at the Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB). As a key member of our Executive Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the corporate services, governance, and risk portfolios for the MAIB.
This role requires a deep understanding of relevant legislative requirements to ensure compliance for the MAIB. You will also be responsible for managing contracted providers, producing ministerial/governance documents, and leading organisational risk and assurance activities from an operations perspective.
As part of the corporate function, you will be required to deal with property management, including planned capital expenditure programs across MAIB's facilities. Knowledge and experience in managing/overseeing large building and construction projects may be advantageous, but not necessary.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need to be an authentic contemporary and hands-on leader with a genuine care for people. You will have extensive experience in senior corporate services, assurance, or risk management roles in relevant industries, such as insurance, construction, commerce, or law.
You will also have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Insurance, Business, Engineering, Commerce, or Law, and/or management qualifications and experience.
