Job Overview

The Strategic Financial Operations Lead will oversee all financial reporting and compliance requirements, prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions, and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and improve internal financial controls and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives and drive growth.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or working towards) is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
