Job Opportunity

The role of Strategic Financial Operations Director is a key leadership position within the organization. This individual will be responsible for driving financial performance and business growth through strategic decision-making and process optimization.

This includes leading the finance business partnering function, providing expert financial guidance to executives and business leaders, as well as delivering high-quality performance reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, Technology, and Risk, to translate strategy into actionable financial plans.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external partners, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operations to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and commercial acumen.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master's degree required.
  • 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5–7 years in leadership within a shared services or business partnering environment.
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry financial operations, including claims, policy administration, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proven success in managing complex financial processes and driving improvements in shared services.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and leveraging technology for process optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance frameworks.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones as needed.
