Financial Leadership Opportunity

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a faculty or division, encompassing budget management, variance analysis, forecasting, risk assessment, compliance, and reporting.

This is a senior leadership position requiring strategic advice to senior leaders, Deans, and Directors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and forecasts
  • Lead financial risk management and monitoring initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on restricted and project/provision funding
  • Deliver complex data insights to support management decision-making
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in core and complex financial management processes
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership experience with demonstrated capability to identify priorities and mentor the team
  • Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and organizational ability
  • Demonstrated IT literacy comprising extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems
