About RAMJO Joint Organisations are legislated groupings of regional councils across NSW.
The RoleThe Interim Executive Officer will be a crucial person in the recruitment of the permanent Executive Officer, working with the Board and General Managers to fulfill the obligations of the position.
- Regional strategic planning and priority setting
- Advocacy and leadership
- Intergovernmental cooperation
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as experience in working with local governments and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Fulfill the obligations of the position as outlined in the contract
- Work closely with the Chair, Deputy Chair and members of the Board to achieve organisational goals
- Collaborate with the General Managers to develop and implement strategic plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local government representatives and community groups
