About This Position

As a Principal Project Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing regional health workforce projects and policy initiatives. This strategic role is part of the Regional Health Division within the Ministry of Health.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing, analysing and evaluating policy and projects in a multidisciplinary environment. They must be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning and personal development, and possess excellent communication skills.

You will work closely with a small dynamic team to deliver, monitor and evaluate the expansion of the NSW Rural Generalist Single Employer Pathway and other regional health workforce projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary package, including Crown Clerk 11/12, starting from $149,739 - $173,174 plus superannuation and annual leave loading, 35-hour work week.
