Role Summary

This role involves providing alcohol and drug interventions, mental health support, group activities, and dual diagnosis counselling. You will oversee the delivery of centre-based, group, and mobile support services for women and children experiencing homelessness.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support client engagement, harm reduction, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Provide person-centred care, including intake and assessment, care coordination, counselling, and crisis intervention.
  • Manage programs supporting women and children experiencing homelessness, participants involved in the Queensland Drug and Alcohol court, and early interventions for families and women exiting remand.

Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • National Police Check.
  • Blue Card (Working with Children's Check).
