About the Role

BESIX Infra is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Rockhampton to deliver a large processing facility project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring that subcontractors have access to their work face for materials and equipment, including the coordination of materials, equipment, personnel, and materials handling plant.
  • In consultation with the Project Director, allocate necessary site resources and confirm that all the resources for the project will be available when required.
  • Review the construction program with the Project Director, re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
  • Ensure that the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations, and quality assurance are implemented and policed at the work face.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience of the successful delivery of construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to build and lead an effective results-driven team.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
