Job Description

BESIX Watpac is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team in Rockhampton to deliver a large processing facility project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring subcontractors have access to their work areas for materials and equipment.
  • In consultation with the Project Manager, allocate necessary site resources and confirm availability.
  • Review the construction program with the Project Manager, resequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
  • Implement and enforce the company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations, and quality assurance at the work site.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering construction projects.
  • Ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to build and lead an effective results-driven team.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
