About the Role

Stanwell Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the Stanwell Power Station in Rockhampton. As a key member of our Future Energy Innovation and Training Hub (FEITH) team, you will be responsible for providing project management and engineering oversight of the FEITH facility infrastructure and its projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement processes and systems to monitor and manage the projects' detailed engineering activities.
  • Engineering Oversight: Collaborate with technology developers, future energy origination teams, and future energy hydrogen teams to coordinate the integration of projects into FEITH and Stanwell Power Station.
  • Risk Management: Effectively manage project design and construction engineering risks to ensure a high level of safety and environmental performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the life of the project to ensure technical and commercial alignment and project objectives remain on target.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working on end-to-end project lifecycles, particularly on the detailed design phase.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to take stakeholders and technology partners on the journey.
  • Process Development: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new processes.
  • Adaptability: Experienced in reprioritizing goals with a continuous shift of focus and communication.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent, preferably civil or mechanical.
