Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Advocacy Advisor to support our newly created advocacy function.

This role will involve working closely with the Senior Advocacy Adviser to implement advocacy plans across all channels, providing strategic advice to internal clients, and managing organisational grants.

The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator and strong writer with the ability to liaise and problem solve with staff at all levels.

A tertiary qualification and/or significant professional experience in advocacy, government relations, community relations, communications, marketing or a related field is required.

Flexibility and cooperativeness are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the implementation of advocacy plans across all channels.
  2. Provide strategic advice to internal clients.
  3. Manage organisational grants.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification and/or significant professional experience in advocacy, government relations, community relations, communications, marketing or a related field.
