We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care to clients with varying physical, intellectual, and mental health needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalized support to individuals with complex needs
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
- SUPPORTING clients to achieve their goals and live independently
- Encouraging community participation, social engagement, and recreational activities
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes in behavior or health
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Support Worker or Care Assistant role
- A genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of mental health, physical disabilities, and safeguarding
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
- First Aid Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- National Police Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
